A Message from the General Secretary

Dear Members, Colleagues and Friends,

Welcome to the Uganda Sociological and Anthropological Association.

As General Secretary, my role is simple in its purpose and significant in its responsibility; to ensure that this association works. That our members are served, our governance is sound, our communications are clear, and that USAA continues to grow into the professional body that Uganda's social scientists deserve.

We are at an exciting time. Our membership is growing, our committees are active, and with the launch of this website, we are opening our doors wider than ever before – to professionals across Uganda, to the diaspora, and to anyone who believes in the power of social science to shape a better society.
